hey guys check out castlerock located in quenero kansas. it used to be the old homeland paintball field. glad to see it is being used again. aaron rainey is helping out as well as several other great players. we played in a game there once and it was one of the craziest games i ever used a tank in. we were mercs for one of the teams and they turned on us mid game so we decided to take out everyone. it was awesome.

lots of stuff going on
Apr 27th 2011, 08:35:24 PM , posted by bill bailey

well, by now everyone knows that Crazy Raymond Ridinger (one of the air guys at panzer attack) was killed in a very bad wreck. he will be missed by a lot of people. he is a great guy and all i can say is we shall all miss him and his antics

panzer was one of the smoothest games ever as far as i am concerend. we had 380 players. weather was great. paint from valken was awesome (due to weather conditions it was a bit bouncy but i would rather see this than paint blowing out of barrels) it was great seeing everyone again this year and i hope all had a great time.

lots of games coming up. we have monte cassino, battle for rome, living legends, ravenwood gambit, oklahoma dday and several others to keep everyone busy.

x marks the spot near lebanon mo. is now open and i hope maybe you can go up their and visit them and blazing paintball when you get up by the lake. check them both out. they are on the field listing.

paint games plus in springfield is now having open play on fridays from 4 pm till dark and again on sundays from 11 am till 6 pm. hope to see you guys there.

well there has been an amusing turn of events. since scott bensman (owner of paintball outpost ) located in springfield mo, has stolen my website mopaintball.com (this is why i had to create mopaintballnews.com) and directs all traffic to his site because he cant do it himself and he has to be a leech and make players go to his site because they went to mopaintballthinking it was mine (since it was since 1999)

anyway. i have legally purchased www.paintballoutpost.com  at first i was going to post all kinds of true, amusing stuff about the loser but instead i will turn it into a nation wide directory for 4 star big games that have been submitted to me.

check out the new site. in about a month it will be up and going. if you are a store or supplier send us info and we may be able to advertise for you.

How Runaway paintball started
Aug 3rd 2010, 05:03:08 PM , posted by Bill Bailey

Hey guys and gals. I asked mickey to send in a brief story about his field. i hope you enjoy it and pretty soon i will get some pictures of his field and include them as well.

The Story of Runaway Paintball
My name is Micky Bales and this is how I got into paintball and eventially started my field.

I attended my first paintball game in July of 2004. I didn't go to play but to watch my
nephew Logan, and his cousin Billy play. It was a small woodsball tournament at Hit and Run Paintball
West Plains, MO. This really sparked my interest in the sport. I got my first marker a
Kingman Spyder Victor 2 shortly there after. Started out with just Logan and I playing a
few rounds until I eventually talked my friend Kieth into getting one to join in playing.
This was the way it went for a few months until we upgraded our markers to Tippmann A-5s.
While in our closest paintball shop Paint Games buying his marker, Kieth ran into this strange cat
"Bill Bailey" who told him about his scenario game "Panzer Attack". Panzer Attack 2005 was the first
scenario game or real game for that matter we had ever attended and we were hooked. That event is
what got the gears rolling sort of speak. I knew then, I wanted to start a field.

I finally got around to registering my business name "Runaway Paintball" in June 2006.
I held my first scenario game "Invasion of America" August 4-5,2007. Now we host the
WW2 Tour of Duty Scenario game "The Ardennes Sector" annually in late August.

What keeps me going in the business of running a field isn't money or popularity or anything you might
think. Its the love of the game, meeting new people, and making them happy. I love hearing the
stories the players tell when they come off of the field. The excitement kids have playing their
first game. The thing I love most about paintball is the fact you can have players ages ranging from
10 to 60 and they all have the same degree of excitement in their faces coming off the field. In
paintball your never to old to feel like a kid again.

Runaway Paintball is a field designed for all ages and types of players. We have a 5 man speedball
course for recreational play or team practice. 40 acres of wooded scenario field with 8 bases
for woodsball, recreational play and scenario games.Runaway Paintball also offers a large camping
area large enough for the largest of RVs and camping vehicles.

Player happiness is our goal and that's why we do field upgrades after every event and offer
low profit affordable games so more players can participate.

Welcome to my paintball blog
Aug 3rd 2010, 04:51:33 PM , posted by Bill Bailey

first off, welcome to the new mopaintballnews.com website. My old paintball site "mopaintball.com" was stolen by my ex-boss Scott Bensman. He has basically slapped all of us in the face by destroying my website and now using it to direct traffic SOLELY to his paintball field, since again he must ride my coat tails to gain any customers attention.

I want to say so much on here about our feud but i think it best to maybe find me on facebook and read further there. i will go on there soon and you can read my tell all manifesto there.

I am disgruntled about this, so i must warn you.

No more crap about it. Now back to paintball
